At Goodwill the other day (yeah we’re frugal) my 5 year old came across this book. She HAD to have it. She loves rabbits and although she can only read a few words without stopping to sound them out, she was pretty excited to have this big book in her hands.
It’s a really simple book to read, but there are so many ways to make it even more fun!
This adorable Knuffle Bunny Organic Fabric would be perfect for making your own little sewing project!
We made an easy craft by printing off a knuffle bunny coloring page on Google and assembling a washing machine. The kids were excited to draw clothes in the washer with Knuffle Bunny, and have a door they could open and close. We used brass fasteners to attach the “door”.
I found this great (free!) Knuffle Bunny Craftivity on Teachers Pay Teachers on identifying the problem and solution in the story.
Also free: Writing prompts – the student can write about a time that he/she lost something. Different layouts for K-4th grade.
What are some fun things you did with the Knuffle Bunny series?
